Chair of Trustees - Jane Ashley

Jane is one of Laura Ashley's daughters. She grew up in Wales, which was a formative influence. Educated at the London School of Economics (Anthropology) as a mature student. Earlier she worked for Laura Ashley plc for 12 years (from 1972 - 1984) creating their image via her photographs and contributing to design/art direction. Believing that "variety is the spice of life", Jane has also worked at the House of Commons as a political researcher.

Her two children are Alexis and Lockie. Hobbies include hill-walking and dancing. She has been a trustee of the Laura Ashley Foundation since 1996.
